BUILDING SAFER COMMUNITIES THROUGH RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
We work with youth, families, and justice partners to provide police and court referrals, restorative justice circles, and case conferences that repair harm and restore balance.
Our COMMITMENT
At the Red Deer Youth Diversion Society, we are committed to empowering youth and providing them with the necessary support to navigate the justice system. Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to create positive pathways for the youth, promoting rehabilitation and reintegration.

Acknowledgement
The Red Deer Youth Diversion Society acknowledges that we live and work within the territories of Treaty 6 and Treaty 7, the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Nahkawé (Saulteaux), Niitsítapi (Blackfoot), Tsuut’ina, Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda), and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government. We honour the enduring presence, knowledge, and resilience of these Peoples, and we recognize the treaty relationship and the responsibilities it places upon all who live and work here. Guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, we are committed to ensuring our restorative justice practices uphold fairness, cultural safety, and healing in partnership with Indigenous communities.
